Spellbound ist das zweite Musikalbum der Sängerin Paula Abdul aus dem Jahr 1990.

Hintergrund

Paula Abdul veröffentlichte Spellbound am 14. Mai 1991 auf ihrer Plattenfirma Virgin Records. Das Album wurde ein internationaler Erfolg und enthielt Hits mit den Liedern Rush Rush, The Promise of a New Day, Blowing Kisses in the Wind, Vibeology und Will You Marry Me?, welche alle als Singles veröffentlicht wurden. Die Lieder Rush Rush und The Promise of a New Day wurden in den USA beide Nummer-eins-Hits und damit Abduls fünfter und sechster Nummer-eins-Hit in den USA. Das Album erreichte ebenfalls Platz 1 der Billboard 200 und wurde in den Vereinigten Staaten mit Dreifach-Platin ausgezeichnet. Weltweit verkaufte sich das Album über 12 Millionen Mal.
