Das With Full Force ist ein Musikfestival für Metal, Hardcore und Punk, welches jährlich am ersten Juliwochenende auf dem Segelflugplatz Roitzschjora bei Löbnitz nördlich von Leipzig veranstaltet wird.

Geschichte

Das Festival fand erstmals im Jahr 1994 in Werdau statt. In den Jahren von 1996 bis 1998 war der Flugplatz in Zwickau Ausrichtungsort des Festivals. 1999 fand die Veranstaltung erstmals in Roitzschjora statt.

Bandgrößen wie Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, Motörhead, In Extremo, Slayer, Machine Head, Soulfly, Hatebreed, Amon Amarth,Children Of Bodom, In Flames, Sick of it all, Manowar, Agnostic Front und Slipknot traten schon auf, aber das Festival ist auch Plattform für kleinere Bands auch aus Deutschland. So waren für den Erfolg der Thüringer Metalcore-Band Heaven Shall Burn ihre Auftritte bei dem Festival ein wichtiger Karrierepunkt.

Neben dem musikalischen Programm gibt es auf dem Gelände einen Markt für Tonträger und Merchandising, eine Karaoke-Bühne sowie Skateboarding- und Freestyle Motocross-Veranstaltungen. Fallen Spiele der deutschen Fußballnationalmannschaft auf das Event, werden diese auf einer Großleinwand übertragen, so beispielsweise das Deutschland-Argentinien-Spiel der WM 2010.

Seit 2002 wird bis auf 2006 jährlich eine Live-DVD veröffentlicht, die meist einen Song pro aufgetretener Band beinhaltet.

Im Jahr 2005 besuchten mehr als 25.000 Menschen (davon 5.000 Tagesbesucher) das Festival. Das 18. With Full Force, welches vom 1. - 3. Juli 2011 stattfand, war mit mehr als 30.000 Besuchern das erfolgreichste in der Geschichte des WFF.

Für die 19. Ausgabe des Festivals sind bereits Elsterglanz und die Crushing Caspars inoffiziell bestätigt.
