Das Unternehmen The Great Horseless Carriage Co Limited begann 1897 in Coventry mit der Produktion von Automobilen. 1898 erfolgte eine Umbenennung in The Motor Manufacturing Co Limited. 1907 erfolgte eine weitere Umbenennung in The Motor Manufacturing Co (1907) Limited und der Umzug nach Clapham. 1908 wurde die Produktion eingestellt.
