Die Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, früher Lady Byng Trophy, ist eine Eishockey-Trophäe, die in der National Hockey League jährlich an den Spieler der NHL verliehen wird, der einen hohen sportlichen Standard und vorbildliches Benehmen beweisen konnte.

Der Gewinner wird zumeist von seinen Mannschaftskameraden wegen seiner Führungsqualitäten und seinem Verhalten auf dem Eis besonders geachtet. Der Gewinner wird aufgrund einer Umfrage der Professional Hockey Writers' Association am Ende der regulären Saison ermittelt.

Die Trophäe wurde nach Lady Byng, Ehefrau von Julian H.G. Byng, ein Vimy Ridge Kriegsheld, der 1925 Gouverneur von Kanada war, benannt. Lord und Lady Byng waren große Sportfans, insbesondere des Eishockey. Lord Byng verpasste kaum ein Spiel der Ottawa Senators und Lady Byng begleitete ihn häufig. Die erste Trophäe wurde 1925 überreicht.

Nachdem Frank Boucher die Trophäe siebenmal in acht Jahren gewonnen hatte, durfte er die Trophäe behalten und eine zweite Trophäe wurde von Lady Byng 1936 gestiftet.

Nachdem Lady Byng 1949 verstorben war, wurde eine neue Trophäe von der NHL eingeführt und Lady Byng Memorial Trophy genannt.
