Nyeri District ist ein Distrikt in der kenianischen Central Province, dessen Hauptstadt Nyeri ist. Der Distrikt dehnt sich über 3.356 Quadratkilometer aus und hatte 1999 661.156 Einwohner.[2] 13,7 % der Haushälte haben Elektrizität.[3]

Er liegt südwestlich des Mount-Kenya-Massivs und ungefähr 100 Kilometer nördlich von Nairobi.
