Liste der Naturschutzgebiete in Niedersachsen

Diese sortierbare Liste enthält alle Naturschutzgebiete in Niedersachsen (Stand: 31. Dezember 2009).

An diesem Stichtag gab es 774 Naturschutzgebiete, die eine Fläche von 253.299 ha umfassten. Dies entspricht etwa 4,78 % der Landesfläche einschließlich der 12-Seemeilen-Zone. Hinzu kamen mit 2 Nationalparks und 1 Biosphärenreservat weitere streng geschützte Gebiete, die den Flächenanteil (inklusive 12-Seemeilen-Zone) auf zusammen 11,38 % erhöhten.^[1]

Zur Liste: Erstreckt sich die Fläche von Naturschutzgebieten auf mehrere Landkreise oder Kreisfreie Städte werden diese in der Reihenfolge nach dem Flächenanteil aufgeführt. Bei einer Sortierung der Spalte "Landkreis / Kreisfreie Stadt" werden also nur die Naturschutzgebiete angezeigt die sich vollständig oder zum größten Teil in diesem Gebiet befinden. Die NSG-Nrn. werden nach den ehemaligen Regierungsbezirken (BR = Braunschweig, HA = Hannover, LÜ = Lüneburg, WE = Weser-Ems) getrennt gezählt.
